This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for software products from MarkR Management Inc. (“MarkR”). Our products are sold and billed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com, so refunds are issued through Paddle back to your original payment method.
1. Subscriptions
You can cancel a subscription at any time. When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, and it is not renewed after that. We generally do not provide partial refunds for the unused part of a billing period, except where required by law.
2. 14-day consideration
If something isn't right, contact us within 14 days of a charge and we'll work with you in good faith. Where a product hasn't been used meaningfully, or didn't perform as described, we will typically arrange a refund of that charge through Paddle.
3. One-time purchases
Some products are billed as one-time purchases rather than subscriptions (for example, a per-meeting purchase). These follow the same 14-day consideration above; once a one-time purchase has been substantially used or delivered, it is generally non-refundable except where required by law.
4. How to request a refund
Email us at raman.kapil@markr.ca with the email address you used at checkout and, if you have it, the Paddle order or transaction reference from your receipt. You can also reply to the Paddle receipt email. We'll confirm and, when a refund applies, ask Paddle to process it.
5. Processing time
Once approved, refunds are issued by Paddle to your original payment method. It typically takes a few business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.
