Privacy Notice

Last updated: July 28, 2026

This notice explains how MarkR Management Inc. (“MarkR,” “we”) handles personal information for the website at markr.ca. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy law. Each MarkR product may have its own privacy terms that apply to data you provide inside that product.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us: if you email us or make an enquiry, we receive your name, email address, and whatever you choose to include. Information collected automatically: we use privacy-friendly, aggregate website analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand traffic and improve the site; this does not build advertising profiles of you. Payment information: purchases are handled by our Merchant of Record, Paddle, which collects the payment and billing details needed to process your order. We do not receive or store your full card details.

2. How we use information

We use the information to respond to your enquiries, provide and improve our website and products, process and support your purchases through Paddle, and meet legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us operate, and only as needed. These include Vercel (website hosting and analytics) and Paddle (payments and billing as Merchant of Record). These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

4. Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, records that support tax and accounting obligations), then delete or anonymize it.

5. Your rights

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to legal limits. To make a request, email us using the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit access to it.

7. Children

This website is intended for a general, adult business audience. Some MarkR products offer youth or family editions; where a product is used by minors, personal information for those users is handled under that product's own terms and with the involvement of a parent, guardian, or institution as appropriate.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this notice from time to time and will change the date above when we do. Questions or privacy requests? Email raman.kapil@markr.ca. MarkR Management Inc., British Columbia, Canada.
